[Event]AIC update: Call for Abstracts

HSSA would like to invite you to our annual Alberta Interprofessional Conference (AIC) on February 6th, 2016 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

AIC is a conference that brings together students, faculty and health professionals of all health sciences backgrounds from all over Alberta to learn about and discuss recent advancements in healthcare from an interdisciplinary point of view. It is a one-of-a-kind event organized by students, for students to give them the opportunity to learn, teach, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the province.  This year we will be co-hosting our event with the Nursing Undergraduate Association (NUA), and our theme is Global Health Care: Home and Abroad.  Our goal is to focus on healthcare issues on a global scale while also linking these topics to healthcare in our own country and communities.

Call for Abstracts:
Poster presenters will be able to share the results of their research with students and professionals at the conference. Please fill out the abstract submission form at (http://goo.gl/forms/xnuPRKV8U4) by January 15th, 2016.  Abstracts will be reviewed by the HSSA Academic Committee, and if there is a large amount of submissions, selection will be based on originality, relevance to the AIC theme, and merit. All applicants will be notified by January 22nd, 2016 regarding the status of their application. Accepted abstracts will be published in the AIC program and made available on the HSSA website

More details on the event TBA. Most updated information will be posted on uofahssa.com/aic2016
